On May 22, CPA submitted comments to Environment and Climate Change Canada regarding proposed changes to the Federal Plastics Registry (FPR). The FPR is an initiative to gather data annually from plastics manufacturers and companies across the related value chain to track plastics in Canada from production through end of life. CPA’s comments support proposed changes to the definition of plastic products that would clearly exclude from FPR reporting engineered wood products made with resins used as an adhesive.
