Since 1985, the CPA has provided independent, accredited certification of formaldehyde emission levels for wood panel product producers. CPA’s trusted certification oversight ensures that unfinished composite panels in the marketplace consistently meet or exceed regulatory requirements and standards.
The program continuously evolves to ensure full compliance with regulatory emission and certification specifications for particleboard, MDF, and Hardwood Plywood. Current regulations include:
