Wood Product Sales Increase Year-over-Year in Canada

Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in March were $3.0 billion (CAD), 2.2% lower than February but up 0.4% from the comparable month last year. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.2 billion, dropping 2.0% from February and 9.1% from March 2023. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries were $69.9 billion, dipping 2.1% from February and 3.1% from the same period last year. See Statistics Canada
