Wood Product Sales Increase Month-over-Month in Canada

The seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in September were $3.2 billion (CAD), 1.8% higher than August but down 1.5% from the comparable month last year. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.2 billion, decreasing 1.0% from August and 5.4% from September 2023. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries were $69.1 billion, 0.5% lower than August and shrinking 5.6% from the same period last year. See Statistics Canada
