Wood Product Sales Increase in Canada

The seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in October were $3.3 billion (CAD), 3.7% higher than September and up 1.4% from the comparable month last year. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.2 billion, growing 1.0% from September but falling 7.3% from October 2023. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries were $70.8 billion, growing 2.1% compared to September but dipping 0.2% from the same period last year. See Statistics Canada
