Weyerhaeuser Announces Purchase of Timberlands

Weyerhaeuser Company, Seattle, WA, has agreed to purchase 80,800 acres of North and South Carolina timberlands from a fund managed by Campbell Global. With this purchase, Weyerhaeuser will manage more than 900,000 acres of timberland in the Carolinas. The approximately $265 million dollar purchase is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022.
