Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries in June were $588.0 billion, up 0.5% from May. Wood product shipments decreased 0.3% in June to $13.2 billion compared to the prior month. Shipments of furniture and related products increased 0.2% from May to $6.9 billion.
New orders for all U.S. manufacturing were 3.3% lower than May at $564.2 billion in June. Furniture and related product orders totaled $6.9 billion, dropping 0.2% from May. See U.S. Census Bureau
