Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries in July were $593.8 billion, up 0.9% from June. Wood product shipments decreased 0.6% in July to $13.1 billion compared to the prior month. Shipments of furniture and related products declined 0.7% from June to $6.8 billion.
New orders for all U.S. manufacturing were 5.0% higher than June at $592.1 billion in July. Furniture and related product orders totaled $6.9 billion, growing 0.2% from June. See U.S. Census Bureau
