U.S. Remodeling Confidence Higher in Q3

In the third quarter of 2025, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)/Westlake Royal Remodeling Index (RMI) reported U.S. remodeling confidence at 60, increasing one point from Q2 but three points lower than the same period in 2024. The current market conditions indicator improved two points from the previous quarter to 68 but decreased four points from 2024. The future indicators index rose one point to 52 over the second quarter but declined three points from Q3 2024.

The Remodeling Market Index (RMI) is based on a quarterly survey of NAHB remodeler members, providing insight into current market conditions and future indicators for the remodeling market. A score over 50 indicates that remodelers report market activity higher than in the previous quarter. See NAHB
