U.S. Remodeling Activity Rebounds in Q2

U.S. remodeling activity in the second quarter rose 25 points from the previous three months to 73, according to the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Remodeling Market Index (RMI). The current market conditions indicator increased 19 points to 77 and the future market index gained 31 points to 70 compared to the first quarter.

The Remodeling Market Index (RMI) is based on a quarterly survey of NAHB remodeler members providing insight on current market conditions and future indicators for the remodeling market. A score over 50 indicates remodelers reporting market activity higher than the previous quarter.  See National Association of Home Builders
