Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries increased 0.5% from October 2023 to $580.7 billion in November. Wood product shipments were up 0.1% in November to $13.3 billion compared to the prior month. Shipments of furniture and related products grew 0.1% from October to $6.7 billion.
New orders for all U.S. manufacturing rose 2.6% from October to $592.9 billion in November. Furniture and related product orders were 1.1% higher at $6.8 billion. See U.S. Census Bureau
