Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries in March dipped 0.1% from February to $539.9 billion. Wood product shipments were up 0.2% in March to $12.7 billion compared to the prior month. Shipments of furniture and related products decreased 0.4% from February to $6.2 billion.
New orders for all U.S. manufacturing rose 0.9% from February to $539 billion in March. Furniture and related product orders dropped 1.3% to $6.2 billion. See U.S. Census Bureau
