U.S. Manufacturing Shipments Decline in February

Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries in February dipped 0.5% from January 2022 to $542.8 billion. Wood product shipments were down 0.5% in February to $12.7 billion compared to the prior month. Shipments of furniture and related products decreased 1.5% from January to $6.2 billion.
New orders for all U.S. manufacturing fell 0.7% from January to $536.4 billion in February. Furniture and related product orders dropped 0.3% to $6.3 billion. See U.S. Census Bureau
