U.S. Kitchen and Bath Sales Rebound in May

U.S. kitchen and bath cabinet sales in May were 16.9% lower than the comparable month in 2019, and year-to-date totals fell 4.3% from the year-ago period, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s (KCMA) monthly Trend of Business member survey.  Overall cabinet sales were up 10.1% from April. Semi-custom sales rose 7.4% from April but were down 9.4% through the first four months compared to 2019. Custom cabinetry sales grew 28.1% in May, but year-to-date levels remained 5.8% below 2019. Stock sales were 8.7% higher than April but down slightly at 0.4% for the year. See KCMA
