U.S. kitchen and bath cabinet sales in July were $211.0 million, 5.1% lower than the comparable month in 2022 and down 14.5% from June, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s (KCMA) monthly “Trend of Business” member survey. Year-to-date sales rose 3.1% from the first seven months of 2022 to $1.7 million. The number of cabinets sold totaled 552,610, decreasing 16.4% compared to July 2022 and dropping 17.0% from last month. Cabinet quantities through July declined 13.7% from last year to 4.4 million.
Semi-custom sales dipped 1.4% from July 2022 to $120.9 million. Custom cabinet sales increased 1.0% to $57.5 million and stock sales fell 23.9% to $32.6 million from the comparable month in 2022. See KCMA
