U.S. kitchen and bath cabinet sales in March were $265.5 million, 3.4% higher than the comparable month in 2022 and up 7.2% year-to-date to $722.8 million, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s (KCMA) monthly “Trend of Business” member survey. The number of cabinets sold decreased 14.9% compared to March 2022 but rose 20.5% from February.
Semi-custom sales improved 1.1% from March 2022 to $145 million. Custom cabinet sales climbed 24.6% to $80 million, and stock sales dropped 17.6% to $41 million from the comparable month in 2022. Survey participants represent approximately 75% of the U.S. kitchen cabinet and bath vanity market. See KCMA
