The second quarter 2025 U.S. Hotel Construction Pipeline Trend Report by Lodging Econometrics reported hotel projects totaled 6,280 with 737,036 rooms, increasing 3% in both categories over the same period in 2024. Projects in the early stages grew 13% from Q2 2024 to 2,897, with 14% more rooms at 338,208. In Q2, hotel renovations, including conversions, rose 11% to 1,956 projects with 259,495 rooms.
