U.S. sales of new single-family homes in January were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 661,000, increasing 1.5% from December and 1.8% higher than the comparable month in 2023.
The seasonally adjusted estimate of new homes for sale through January was 456,000, representing an 8.3-month supply at the current sales rate. See U.S. Census Bureau
