U.S. sales of new single-family homes in January were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 923,000, increasing 4.3% from December 2020 and 19.3% higher than the comparable month last year.

The seasonally adjusted estimate of new homes for sale at the end of January was 307,000, representing a four-month supply at the current sales rate. See U.S. Census Bureau
