U.S. Home Sales Drop in February

U.S. sales of new single-family homes in February were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 775,000, decreasing 18.2% from January but 8.2% higher than the comparable month last year.

The seasonally adjusted estimate of new homes for sale at the end of February was 312,000, representing a 4.8-month supply at the current sales rate. See U.S. Census Bureau
