U.S. Home Sales Down in June

U.S. sales of new single-family homes in June were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 590,000, decreasing 8.1% from May and 17.4% lower than the comparable month last year.

The seasonally adjusted estimate of new homes for sale at the end of June was 457,000, representing a 9.3-month supply at the current sales rate. See U.S. Census Bureau
