U.S. wood product manufacturing sales in the fourth quarter of 2024 increased 6.5% from Q3 to $26.7 billion and 5.8% from the same period in 2023. After-tax profits grew 27.5% to $1.7 billion from the prior three months and were 31.9% higher than Q4 2023.
Furniture sales rose 5.9% from Q3 but dipped 1.0% from Q4 a year ago to $17.5 billion. After-tax profits in Q4 fell 32.6% from the third quarter to $786,000 but surged 68.3% from the same quarter in 2023. See U.S. Census Bureau
