U.S. Consumer Confidence Jumps in March

U.S. consumer confidence in March registered at 109.7, rising 19.3 points from February and the highest level in a year, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index.  The index measuring current business and labor market conditions gained 20.4 points from February to 110.0, while the short-term outlook for income, business and the labor market jumped 18.7 points to 109.6 in March.
