U.S. Consumer Confidence Down Slightly in October

U.S. consumer confidence in September registered at 100.9, down 0.3% from September, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index. The index measuring current business and labor market conditions increased 5.8% from September to 104.6, while the short-term outlook for income, business and the labor market fell 4.4%% to 98.4 in October.
