U.S. Construction Up in November

U.S. construction spending in November 2020 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.46 trillion, rising 0.9% from October and up 3.8% from the year prior.  Year-to-date spending grew 4.4% from the first eleven months of 2019 to $1.31 billion.

Private construction spending increased 1.2% from October to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.11 trillion.  Residential levels for November expanded 2.7% from the previous month to $658.1 billion, while non-residential totals dipped 0.8% from October to $453.8 billion.  See U.S. Census Bureau
