U.S. construction spending in February was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.70 trillion, up 0.5% from January and an 11.2% increase over the year prior. Private construction spending rose 0.8% from January to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.35 trillion. Residential totals for February were 1.1% higher than the previous month at $850.6 billion and non-residential totals grew 0.2% from January to $503.0 billion. See U.S. Census Bureau
