U.S. Construction Spending Inches Upward in November

U.S. construction spending in November 2021 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.63 trillion, increasing 0.4% from October and 9.3% higher than the year prior.  Private construction spending was up 0.6% from October to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.27 trillion.  Residential levels for November rose 0.9% from the previous month to $796.3 billion, while non-residential totals grew slightly by 0.1% from October to $477.3 billion.  See U.S. Census Bureau
