The May Architecture Billings Index (ABI) fell three points to 53.5 according to The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Economics & Market Research Group. A score above 50 indicates growth in billings. Design contracts improved 1.5 points to 56.9 from April.
May billings were in positive territory for all geographic regions, with the West leading at 59.3. Firms of all specializations reported growth in monthly billings, led by Commercial/Industrial. See AIA
