Canadian hotel construction declined slightly in Q3, with 277 projects and 35,836 rooms completed. Projects in the pipeline were down 4% comprising 7% less rooms compared to Q3 2019. Top cities for construction were Toronto with 57 projects and 8,065 rooms, followed distantly by Montreal at a record-setting 19 projects and 2,595 rooms. See Lodging Econometrics
