Supreme Court Stops OSHA COVID Vaccine and Testing Mandate

On January 13, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a decision preventing implementation of the OSHA COVID-19 vaccination and testing emergency temporary standard (ETS).  The ETS would have mandated that employers with more than 100 employees require staff to be vaccinated by January 10 or otherwise implement a weekly  testing regime for unvaccinated employees.  The debate will continue as the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals is still considering appeals filed last year on the ETS.  Should the 6th Circuit uphold the ETS mandates, the matter may then be appealed to the Supreme Court.  See Supreme Court Ruling
