Registration continues for CPA’s 2024 Fall Meeting, October 6 to 8, at the Westing Hilton Head in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
The Monday General Session will feature a panel discussion on perspectives surrounding wood industry carbon policy with Alicia Cramer, Senior Vice President of the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities, and Dr. Cynthia West, Director of the US Forest Service Forest Products Laboratory and Northern Research. Tuesday’s General Session, “Navigating the Future: Key Insights into Real Estate Markets”, will be presented by Lesley Deutch, Managing Principal at Johns Burns Research and Consulting. During the Production-Technical Committee meeting, Travis Fields with Weyerhaeuser will present the organization’s 2023 Safety Innovation Award initiative titled “Installation of Proximity Alert Warning System (PAWS).” Additionally, David Biggs, Director of Digital Strategy at Woodworking Network, will discuss the latest trends and statistics from popular social media channels and effective engagement techniques at Monday’s Decorative Surfaces Council meeting.
