U.S. kitchen and bath cabinet sales in September were $227.4 million, 5.4% lower than the comparable month last year and down 4.3% from August, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s (KCMA) monthly “Trend of Business” member survey. Year-to-date sales were $2.120 billion, declining 2.7% from the first nine months of 2023.
Semi-custom sales fell 4.2% from September 2023 and 2.6% from August to $129.9 million. Custom cabinet sales decreased 2.6% from the prior year and 2.4% from August to $62.6 million. Stock sales dropped 13.8% from September 2023 and 13.0% from the previous month to $35.0 million. See KCMA
