September Interior Design Billings on the Rise

Interior design billings from the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) member-owned firms increased 2.9 points in September, bringing the Interior Design Billings Index (IDBI) score to 54.6. Any score over 50 indicates growth. The Midwest led the three-month average at 59.9, with all regions registering in positive territory except for the West which dropped below 50 for the first time since November 2020. The August index measuring inquiries gained 4.4 points to 59.8, and the six-month outlook score inched up 0.2 points from August to 61.5. See ASID
