September Canadian Manufacturing Up Year Over Year

Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in September were $3.6 billion (CAD), down 2.3% from August but 0.7% higher than the comparable month in 2021. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.3 billion, increasing 0.9% from August and jumping 10.9% over September 2021. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries were $70.4 billion, marking no change from August but increasing 18.5% from September 2021. See Statistics Canada
