U.S. Wood Product Shipments Up in June
Seasonally adjusted shipments for all U.S. manufacturing industries totaled $652.1 billion in June, a 0.2% decrease from May. June U.S. Construction Spending Weakens
U.S. construction spending in June reached a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $2.17 trillion, decreasing 0.1% from May and 3.2% year-over-year. U.S. Manufacturing Index Flat in July
The seasonally adjusted S&P Global U.S. Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) for July remained level with June at 53.9, the twelfth consecutive month above the growth point of 50. U.S. consumer confidence registered at 90.8 in July, a decline of 1.4 points from the adjusted June reading, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index. June U.S. New Home Sales Increase Month-over-Month
U.S. sales of new single-family homes in June were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 628,000, increasing 1.6% from May but 5.6% lower than the comparable month in 2025. The seasonally adjusted estimate of new homes for sale in June was 485,000, indicating a 9.3-month supply at the existing sales rate. This is 0.2%
