U.S. Home Sales Decrease in February
U.S. sales of new single-family homes in February were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 772,000, down 2.0% from January and 6.2% below the comparable month last year. Fourth quarter 2021 U.S. wood product sales increased 0.85% from Q3 to $38.1 billion and were 25.3% higher than the same period in 2020. February Architectural Billings Improve
The February Architecture Billings Index (ABI) rose 0.3 points to 51.3 according to The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Economics & Market Research Group. Canadian retail furniture store sales in January rose 8.5% from December 2021 to $1.2 billion (CAD) and soared 32.2% from the same month last year.
