Canadian Wood Product Sales Decline in May
Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in May were $2.8 billion (CAD), down 0.7% from April and 35.4% lower than the comparable month last year. May Canadian Building Permits Weaken
Canadian building permits in May climbed 10.5% from April but fell 13.5% from the comparable period in 2022 to $10.5 billion (CAD). U.S. sales of new single-family homes in July were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 607,000, falling 10.5% from June and 6.3% below the comparable month in 2025.
