CPA held its annual Spring Meeting last week in Dana Point, CA, with more than 120 member companies in attendance. The April issue of the Particleboard and MDF Commentary has been published and includes a detailed economic analysis of the North American market. The Commentary is circulated monthly by Fastmarkets RISI and permits CPA to republish issues quarterly as a benefit to members. See Particleboard and MDF Commentary

The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) recently released a quarterly stakeholder report for its carbon data platform project. CPA, along with several other wood-based trade associations, is a partner in this multi-year initiative to develop transparent tools to collect and manage carbon data associated with forests and wood products. Interprint USA, Pittsfield, MA, appointed Manoj Vengalil to CEO. Vengalil has been with the company for over 20 years, most recently serving as Managing Director. Additionally, Bill Hines has transitioned from Managing Director and will begin an advisory position starting June 1. Interprint specializes in décor design and printing. See Interprint
