January U.S. Construction Spending Increases
U.S. construction spending in January was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.68 trillion, up 1.3% from December 2021 and an 8.2% increase over the year prior. U.S. Consumer Confidence Falls Again in February
U.S. consumer confidence in February registered at 110.5, dipping 0.6 points from a revised January score, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index. The index measuring current business and labor market conditions, rose 0.6 points from January to 145.1.
