Remodeling Industry Confidence Up from Q3 2020

U.S. remodeling confidence in the third quarter was equal to the previous three months at 87 points, but was five points higher than 2020, according to the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB)/Royal Building Products Remodeling Market Index (RMI). The current market conditions indicator rose 4 points to 90 and the future indicators index gained seven points to 84 over the third quarter in 2020.

The Remodeling Market Index (RMI) is based on a quarterly survey of NAHB remodeler members providing insight on current market conditions and future indicators for the remodeling market. A score over 50 indicates remodelers reporting market activity higher than the previous quarter.  See National Association of Home Builders
