U.S. remodeling confidence in the second quarter rose 14 points from the previous three months to 87, according to the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Remodeling Market Index (RMI). The current market conditions indicator increased 2 points to 91 and the future indicators index lost 1 point to 83 over the first quarter.
The Remodeling Market Index (RMI) is based on a quarterly survey of NAHB remodeler members providing insight on current market conditions and future indicators for the remodeling market.
