Record High Q2 Canadian Hotel Construction Projects

Canadian hotel construction projects in the second quarter rose 17% from Q2 2023 to a record 322, representing 40,297 rooms. Projects under construction increased 54% from the comparable period in 2023 to 80, with 51% more rooms at 10,603. Projects scheduled for the next 12 months were at 80 or 9,249 rooms anticipated.
