Record High Q1 Canadian Hotel Construction Projects

Canadian hotel construction projects in the first quarter rose 11% from Q1 2023 to a record 314, representing 39,628 rooms. Projects under construction increased 49% from the comparable period in 2023 to 70, with 58% more rooms at 9,151. Projects planned for the next 12 months were at 80 or 9,593 rooms anticipated.
