Fourth quarter 2021 U.S. wood product sales increased 0.85% from Q3 to $38.1 billion and were 25.3% higher than the same period in 2020. After-tax profits fell 24.3% to 3.1 billion over the prior three months but were 30.7% higher than the fourth quarter in 2020.
Furniture sales were down 5.4% from Q3 to $19.7 billion but were 9.2% than Q4 2020. After-tax profits in Q4 fell 39.5% to $1.1 billion and were 30.9% lower than the same quarter in 2020. See U.S. Census
