U.S. wood products manufacturing sales in the third quarter of 2025 decreased 2.2% to $27.3 billion from Q2 but grew 9.9% from the same period last year. After-tax profits fell 22.9% to $1.5 billion from the prior three months but were 14.3% higher than Q3 2024.
Furniture sales declined 4.6% from Q2 but increased 10.0% from Q3 2024 to $18.2 billion. After-tax profits in Q3 were 2.6% lower than the second quarter at $1.1 billion and 7.6% below the same quarter in 2024. See U.S. Census Bureau
