Q3 Canadian Hotel Construction Projects Expand

Canadian hotel construction projects in Q3 2023 rose 5% from 2022 to 275, representing 37,780 rooms. Projects under construction increased 4% from Q3 2022 to 56, with 18% more rooms at 8,228. Projects planned for the next 12 months were at 101 or 11,548 rooms anticipated. Construction in the early planning stage grew 13% to 118 projects or 18,004 rooms. See Canadian Lodging Econometrics
