In the third quarter of 2024, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)/Westlake Royal Remodeling Index (RMI) reported U.S. remodeling confidence at 63, dropping two points from both Q2 and the same period in 2023. The current market conditions indicator was 72, two points lower than the previous quarter and the future indicators index was 55, declining three points from the second quarter. The Remodeling Market Index (RMI) is based on a quarterly survey of NAHB remodeler members, providing insight into current market conditions and future indicators for the remodeling market.
