U.S. wood products manufacturing sales in the second quarter of 2025 increased 12.2% to $28.1 billion from Q1 and grew 9.0% from the same period last year. After-tax profits surged 66.5% to $2.0 billion from the prior three months but were 0.8% lower than Q2 2024.
Furniture sales rose 4.3% from Q1 and 10.6% from Q2 2024 to $19.1 billion. After-tax profits in Q2 were 122.4% higher than the first quarter at $1.1 billion and 62.2% above the same quarter in 2024. See U.S. Census Bureau
