CPA 4-19 Eco-Certified Composite (ECC) Standard is a voluntary industry standard developed by the Composite Panel Association (CPA) for manufacturers of particleboard, medium density fiberboard (MDF), hardboard, engineered wood siding and engineered wood trim. The Standard defines the applicable composite panels, establishes formaldehyde emission limits and identifies the environmental criteria that must be met to qualify for ECC certification.
