On July 2, Daiken North America Ltd. acquired Panolam’s Huntsville, Ontario particleboard and TFL facility. Daiken is a division of the Daiken Corporation and Itochu Building Products Holdings, Inc. groups. The Huntsville facility will continue its current operations with “considerable capital investments” expected over the next few years.
Panolam will continue to serve the North American HPL and specialty surfacing market through existing operations. See Panolam Industries
