October Canadian Retail Furniture Sales Increase

Canadian seasonally adjusted retail furniture store sales in October 2024 increased 2.3% from September to $1.18 billion (CAD) but were 0.4% lower than the same month in 2023. Sales for building material dealers dipped 0.6% from September to $3.85 billion and were down 0.2% from the same period the year prior. Total Canadian retail sales for the month were $67.58 billion, climbing 0.6% from September and 1.5% from October 2023.
